Microsoft has just made it slightly easier for users to buy a new Surface device. The company is introducing a new Surface Membership service which will allow its customers to buy a new Surface device with monthly payments. Currently, Microsoft is only offering the latest generation of Surface devices, which includes the Surface Book, Surface Pro 4 and the Surface 3. The Surface Membership will also include phone and in-store support which is also a pretty nice addition. Here's everything the Surface Membership is offering:

  • Phone and in-store tech support, 7 days per week
  • One-on-one personal training
  • In-store discounts on future purchases of hardware, software, and more
  • Microsoft Complete for Business Extended Service Plan with Accidental Damage Protection

You can pay for the service over 18, 24 or 30 months which is quite convenient. You can get the cheapest Surface Book with the 24 months of Surface Membership plan for $89.99 per month, and the cheapest variant of the Surface Pro 4 for $59.99 per month (again, 24 months) and the cheapest variant of the Surface 3 for only $37.99 per month.

It is worth noting that the Surface Membership is financed through LiftForward and users will need to go through an approval process to be able to purchase a Surface device.
