Microsoft updates its Get Started up with new content

Get Started Microsoft

Microsoft's' guide for getting users into Windows 10 – get started – has just received an update for Windows 10 devices to make it a little more useful.

The store changelog for the most recent update reads:

  •  Expanded content for mobile devices, desktop PCs, and the Microsoft Surface Hub
  •  Design changes and performance improvements
  • Bug fixes

Poking around the app, we can definitely see some expanded content in the Windows 10 Mobile version of the app. For instance, there was a new "Entertainment~" section which detailed Groove Music, Films and TV and explained the Xbox app and gamertag features

Asede from that, there isn't much else that the app introduces that wasn't obvious. Nevertheless, Microsoft's Get Started app is a useful tool for onboarding users into Windows 10 without overloading them with tips and pop-ups like were present in Windows 8.

The app is pre-installed on Windows 10 devices but if for some reason you've deleted it, you can get it from the store link below.
