Microsoft today announced the new Windows 10 S, a specific configuration of Windows 10 Pro that is streamlined for security and performance. Windows 10 S has many of the features of Windows 10 Pro, but for security and performance it exclusively runs apps from the Windows Store and uses Microsoft Edge as its default browser. There are some key differences between Windows 10 S, Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro, see the feature comparison chart below.
