Microsoft today reported a revenue of $24.1 billion GAAP, and $26.1 billion non-GAAP for fiscal year Q2 2017. The company reported an increase in Windows OEM revenue — here's the breakdown:
- Windows OEM Pro grew 6% (up 6% CC) slightly outperforming an improving commercial PC market
- Windows OEM non-Pro grew 5% (up 5% CC) primarily due to a higher mix of premium devices
- Windows commercial products and cloud services grew 5% (up 6% CC), driven by double-digit annuity billings growth and installed expansion
Microsoft also reported a fall in revenue of 5% from its Personal Computing business, which generated a revenue of $11.8 billion.
