At IFA, Acer today announced four new Spin laptops with "360-degree" hinges for different work modes just like the Lenovo Yoga series.
The Spin 7 comes with 14-inch screen in a 13-inch aluminum chassis, 0.43-inch thickness, 7th-gen Core i7, 8GB of maximum RAM and 256GB SSD. It comes with Dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports included for quick data transfers and offers up to 8 hours of battery life
Spin 1 comes with 11.6- and 13.3-inch screens. Spin 3 comes with 15.6-inch screen and two storage drives. Spin 5 comes with 13.3-inch display, up to 16GB RAM and up to a 512GB SSD with support for optional pen.
The Spin 3 and Spin 5 will be available in October starting at $499 and $599 respectively. The entry level model Spin 1 will be available in December for $249.
The Acer Spin 7 will be available in North America in October with prices starting at $1,199; and in EMEA in October with prices starting at €1,299.
