Ring, well-known for their video door bell, has expanded even more into the security scene with a new flood light that use the same technology as their door bell.
The new Flood Light Cam will work with the existing Ring app (available for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile) and will notify you when you have trespassers, illuminate them with the ultra-bright 3K Lumen twin LED bulbs, let you observe them with the 1080P 270 degree camera, chat with them and raise a 110 db siren if something nefarious is going on.
The camera includes:
- Two-tier motion detection with facial recognition
- Ultra wide-angle motion sensors
- Night vision
- Customizable motion zones and scheduling
While Ring's products are normally plug and play, this one does need to be constantly powered, so may need to be wired in by an electrician.
The Flood Light Cam is available in Black or White and will retail for $249 and can be pre-ordered today, for shipping in early April.
