Microsoft has today updated their Windows Reading List app to version 1.0.121.502.
The app, introduced in Windows 8.1, lets users collect articles to read later and share them between PC and phone.
Today in Windows 10 the feature is built into the Edge browser, and the update now adds a pop-up informing users how they can migrate their read later collection to the Edge browser.
The pop-up reads:

In Windows 10, Microsoft Edge has a built-in reading list, so you never have to leave the browser you're in and you can get to your list from any Windows 10 device. Learn how to move items from this app to Microsoft Edge.
You can continue using the Reading List app in Windows 8.1. We recommend moving your list to Microsoft Edge once you've upgraded to Windows 10.
Microsoft's advice for migrating your list is not the most sophisticated, and reads as follows:
- In the Reading List app, select an item to open it in Microsoft Edge. (If it opens in a different browser, first go to Start, then Settings > System > Default apps and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge.)
- In Microsoft Edge, select the star icon, select Reading list, then select Add.
We suspect not too many people are using the feature, but note the new solution is more limited, in that the previous solution was browser agnostic, and the new one only works from inside Edge.
