Microsoft today announced the Season 2 of Forza Racing Championship and its registration is now open on the ESL website. Season 2 is now sponsored by Michelin, Logitech G and Playseat, and players worldwide will compete for cash and prizes worth more than $150,000. Also, for the first time events will take place across two Forza games – Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 6. In the Elite Series, the fastest drivers in the world compete in Forza Motorsport 6 to claim the title of Season 2 champion and a $10,000 cash prize for the top overall winner.
The Elite Series is comprised of three weeks of racing competition. 160 drivers will compete each week, with the top 32 drivers entering the Elite Series Showdown races to battle for entry to the ForzaRC Grand Finals. The 128 drivers that do not qualify for the Elite Series Showdown can continue to compete in the Elite Series Consolation Cup each week for a chance to continue building their skills and win prizes.
