Continuum for Phones finds a home in the Mercedes E-Class

Continuum for Phones has in many cases been seen as a solution looking for a problem, but for some desk-less occupations such as social worker or police officer it is perfect, allowing them to be highly mobile and enter data on the move, and then do some light processing on a larger screen when available.

Enterprise UWP app provider Icomedias has shown off their HybridForms solution, designed to help make the police in Germany paper-less, and besides running on the Surface and the HP Elite X3, they also showed it off running on the in-car display of a Mercedes E-Class.

They note that the solution is perfect for the police, because it allows them to unplug the phone and take everything with them, not leaving a trace of sensitive data behind.
