Microsoft's Bot Framework has picked up another major new update today. Microsoft is adding a couple of new features to the service that will help them make bots easily, including a new Channel Inspector. The new Channel Inspector lets developers see a preview of how a feature will look and work on every channel — for example, you can see how the Carousel in bots will look on Skype, Slack, Facebook, or any other channels.
In addition to the new Channel Inspector, Microsoft has also updated the Direct Line API channel following high-demand from developers with the following features:
- Faster, internal high-speed storage
- Ability to manually guide your Direct Line client to our datacenters in Europe and Asia, for lower latency
And lastly, Microsoft has also made some improvements to the Bot Framework emulator to help developers debug their bots easily, and the company is also releasing its Bot Framework Bot Control to NPM, which means developers can now easily include it in their bots simply by calling the module on their Node.js app.
