While Samsung is most famous for its mobile phones – specifically the excellent Galaxy line of phones – few can say the same about its tablets. Like most Android tablet manufacturers, Samsung has released a plethora of mostly forgettable machines with one of its notable exceptions being its sole Windows 10 2 in 1 – the Galaxy Tab Pro S.
I briefly used the Tab Pro S at launch last year in Barcelona, and it was a sleek device with a beautiful screen, and it was received with glowing reviews by the technosphere – with one publication describing it as "Out Surfacing the Surface"
First spotted by the Samsung focused tech blog Sammobile, Samsung has just recently gotten a slew of tablets certified by the Bluetooth SIG – including a Samsung SM-W727V – which appears to be the successor to the Tab Pro S (SM-W700).
Not much is known about this device, though some speculation abounds as to whether the device is one which is going to have an LTE-equipped variant which would be sold at Verizon stores due to the V designation at the end.
Samsung is holding a tablet focused event at MWC on the 26th of February, and we'll likely learn more about their tablet plans then.
