The Backward Compatibility program lets you play various Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One, and new titles are added to the list of participating games regularly. Today's batch brings in two very different pairs of games – licensed games based off Disney movies, and the standalone expansions to Dead Rising 2.
These titles are Meet the Robinsons, Cars 2: The Video Game, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, and Dead Rising 2: Case West. Meet the Robinsons and Cars 2 are pretty much what you'd expect – they're fairly standard family friendly games that follow the stories of the source material closely. They might be worth picking up if you have children, but the majority of people aren't going to get these games for themselves.
The Dead Rising 2 expansions are a bit more interesting, however. They weren't included with the Dead Rising 2 remaster that landed on the Xbox One last year, and are completely standalone stories. Case Zero is a cheap ($5) prologue that's designed to give people a taste of the full version of Dead Rising 2, but it's completely original content. The closest thing to it in this regard is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, although that cost quite a bit more. Case West has a bit more content, and lets players step into the shoes of Frank West one more time- either alone or with a friend.
