Azure Data Factory is a cloud-based data integration service that orchestrates and automates the movement and transformation of data. It allows organizations to create data integration solutions that can ingest data from various data stores, transform/process data, and publish results to the data stores. Microsoft yesterday announced the availability of Azure Data Factory for both cloud and hybrid data movement needs in the UK data.
For example, when you copy data from a cloud data source to an UK Azure store, Data Movement service in UK South will perform the copy and ensure compliance with data residency.
