Mafia III: Faster, Baby! lets you take down a corrupt sheriff, out tomorrow

A few weeks ago, Hangar 13 announced that Faster, Baby! would release on March 28. To prepare for Mafia III's first expansion, the team issued an update on Xbox One which comes in at over 5 GB. The developer didn't provide patch notes for the update but noted that it includes mines and the ability to throw grenades while driving. Vehicular combat wasn't a high point for the game so this should add a new dimension to it.

Faster, Baby! revolves around Lincoln as he joins forces with Roxy Laveau, a sister-in-arms in order to take down a corrupt sheriff terrorizing Civil Rights activists. Mafia III has focused on Civil Rights and discrimination to an unprecedented degree in the industry and it's great to see the trend continue in its add-ons. The first expansion promises fast cars, dramatic chases and epic stunt driving. Vehicles like the Berkley Freerider, Bulworth Aspen and Lassiter Nightcrawler will also be part of the package.

After installing the update, a new area called Sinclair Parish will appear on the map. Unfortunately it's inaccessible due to a road block until you either purchase the season pass or expansion. For those wondering, there is a lot more content coming to Mafia III in the future. Stones Unturned and Sign of the Times should release over the summer. Mafia III may have witnessed a rocky start, but it's an excellent game in its current state. If you haven't checked it out already, be sure to do so.
