Yesterday, Microsoft added a new animation/effect from Project NEON to the Microsoft People app in Windows 10. The company has been experimenting with Project NEON-related changes for a little while now, and a small part of it is already available in apps like Groove Music, Windows Maps, and Movies & TV. Today, Microsoft rolled out yet another update to the Groove Music app, bringing the new effect which was released to the People app last night.

If you have been following all the latest news on Project NEON, you are probably aware of this new effect (which is called the "Reveal" experience internally). The effect essentially lightens up a part of a navigation item when you hover over it as you can see in the GIF above. Project NEON should get detailed at Microsoft's Build 2017 developer conference next month. But it's clear that Microsoft has already started experimenting with the new changes in Windows 10, and it should be ready by the time Redstone 3 arrives for the public.
