The latest Office 365 service will make it easy to keep track of your customers

Back in November last year, Microsoft first announced Outlook Customer Manager for Outlook on Windows. The service initially launched as a preview, but Microsoft is now opening it up to all Office 365 Business Premium subscribers worldwide on the web and iOS.

Outlook Customer Manager, for those who don't know, is integrated right into Outlook's desktop apps. Using Outlook Customer Manager, businesses will be able to add tasks for a certain customer, keep track of the deals, as well as the upcoming meetings. The service also has a neat little view where users can see all the tasks and other things they need to finish with a certain customer on a day.

Microsoft is also bringing Outlook Customer Manager to mobile devices today. The company is releasing the add-in for Outlook Customer Manager on iOS, but a standalone app for the service will be available soon as well. Microsoft didn't mention whether the company is planning on bringing a standalone app for Android, but that's probably coming too.

In addition to bringing Outlook Customer Manager to the iPhone, Microsoft is also making some improvements to the service on the desktop. Using Outlook on the Web, businesses can now get automatic reminders for emails containing inquiries from their customers thanks to Outlook Customer Manager. The feature also now lets users auto-fill customer business information with suggestions from Bing.

Cortana is also now integrated into Outlook Customer Manager, as it's now possible to ask Cortana to schedule a meeting. This feature utilizes Microsoft's Calendar.help service which is powered by Cortana — and it can automatically schedule a meeting with your customer based on your current schedule and habits. However, this feature is only available as a preview for now to users part of Office 365's First Release program.
