Microsoft today announced April 2017 update for Power BI Mobile apps. This new update comes makes the app experience smoother and faster. Phone reports allows you to use Power BI Desktop to specifically tailor a portrait view of your existing report for mobile viewers. With this update, Microsoft has added support for different report background colors on mobile. If you define a background color in Power BI Desktop, the phone layout will maintain the same color. Power BI iOS app now supports right-to-left languages like Hebrew and Arabic.
Power BI iOS app now allows you to use the microphone button in your iOS device to ask questions about your data, in your own words. And finally, Microsoft now allows developers to create Power BI custom visuals that are optimized for mobile consumption.
