Microsoft's next Xbox console, dubbed Project Scorpio is all the rave these days in terms of what's in store for Microsoft's future. The console is expected to pack 8 CPU cores, over 320 GB/s of memory bandwidth, 6 teraflops of GPU power, 4K gaming, and much much more. Since then, tid bits of information have trickled onto social media, including new mixed reality content, 4K video, and internal power supplies.
Other than the aforementioned, not much has been revealed about the console, but all of that could be about to change. Digital Foundry, a news division of video game news website Eurogamer, has stated on twitter that it would be having an "exclusive" Xbox Scorpio reveal the week, on Thursday specifically. Exactly what kind of reveal we will be getting has yet to be stated, though the information revealed by Windows Central yesterday suggest that we may be receiving the technical specifications of the upcoming console.
To clear up the speculation: @digitalfoundry will have an exclusive Xbox Scorpio reveal on @eurogamer this Thursday at 2pm UK / 6am Pacific. http://pic.twitter.com/bacxOGerjJ

Redmond first revealed its new Xbox console last summer during the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, in Los Angeles. Except for being a beast of a console, the only specifics was that the console would be released "Holiday 2017", and would receive a premium pricing as the tech giant wants a family of gaming consoles at all pricing and spec ranges, like PC hardware. In the interim, Microsoft had released an upgraded Xbox One console, the Xbox One S.
The reveal will happen this Thursday at 9AM ET/2PM UK.
