The red headed step child of the premium Microsoft Surface Family, the Surface 3 is headed for another clearance sale in the United Kingdom.
The device – which has been discontinued and is circling the drain as far as new batches are concerned – has seen its price drop once more to a mere £319 for the base level Microsoft Surface 3.
The Microsoft Surface 3 is the younger brother of the Surface Pro 3 and 4 devices. It is a tablet that can be used as a laptop in a pinch, complete with support for Windows Ink, Continuum, and Cortana.
It's a portable tablet which has a 10.8-inch FullHD screen and a full metal[magnesium] body. Unlike the Surface and Surface 2 before it, it runs full Windows 10 for x86 allowing you to use both universal Windows apps and Windows desktop apps on the go.
This variant may not be the top of the line with just 64GB and 2GB of RAM, but you'll be getting a pretty good entertainment machine that can be more productive than an iPad – personally I think its a steal for the price (and possible collector's value)
