Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare isn't launching until November 4th, meaning that the remaster of Modern Warfare, which comes packaged with special editions of the game, isn't launching until that date either. That's not going to stop a launch trailer for Modern Warfare Remastered from showing up, though. The new trailer shows plenty of memorable moments from the original game, but with significantly better visuals. If you'd like to have either enjoy a bit of nostalgia or just spoil the game's ending for yourself, you can find the trailer below.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare came out back on November 5th, 2007. That's almost nine years ago, and while the franchise has changed significantly with recent titles like Advanced Warfare, this was still a huge change, too. The Call of Duty series was originally a handful of shooters set during World War II, which was an incredibly popular setting for a while. The fourth main game in the series changed that, bringing it to the modern day. It took the series in a whole new direction, and was immensely popular. The Xbox 360 version of the game remained the best selling game in the United States for a solid three months, which was an impressive feat.
Oddly enough, Modern Warfare Remastered isn't being sold on its own. Despite all the work that's been put into it, you can only get it with either the Legacy or Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It's unknown – and unlikely – if it'll ever be sold on its own in the future, meaning that you'll probably have to pay at least $79.99 to get it.
If you feel like paying that $79.99 (or $99.99) admission fee, you can find the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare here, and the Digital Deluxe Edition here.
