Normally when we are given review devices we are told not to expose them to danger (e.g doing a drop test to see if the glass would break).
It seems Windowsteca was under no such instructions, as they have actually decided to submerge their HP Elite X3 review unit and see if the much vaunted rugged IP67 features actually stood up to its promises.
IP67 means submergible for up to 1 metre for 30 minutes and protected from total dust ingress.
WindowsTeca did not take things quite that far, bit a brief dunk in a shallow bowl of water did no damage to the device, except for the speakers temporarily not working. They were fine after drying for a while however.
