Microsoft makes a play for IoT SaaS with Microsoft IoT Central

Microsoft today announced Microsoft IoT central, a new end-to-end IoT software as a service (SaaS) solution in the cloud that helps customers build, use, and maintain internet connected products. Microsoft already has an IoT solution called Azure IoT Suite which is a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution. Microsoft will be offering both the IoT solutions to cater the needs of different customers. While Azure IoT Suite enables deep customization and full control, the new Microsoft IoT central lower the barriers to creating IoT solutions.
