WhartonBrooks reach 1% of their $1.1 million Cerulean Moment funding goal after 2 days

On the 31st March 2017 WhartonBrooks finally unveiled their first Windows 10 Mobile device,  the Cerulean Moment, and launched it on Indiegogo with an ambitious funding goal of $1.1 million and a shipment target date of August 2017.

Now 2 days later the device managed to attract 39 backers out of the estimated 3900 it needs to reach the fixed funding target.

The Cerulean Moment comes with 5-inch 720P HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 13MP/5MP rear/front cameras and 2250 mAh battery. It also comes with support for LTE and Dual SIM/Expandable storage slot. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. If offers wireless Continuum for Phones support (with a free Actiontec streaming stick which is included for free) but more importantly the promise by the CEO of dedicated support and backing.

While the rate of less than 1% per day suggests the device will not reach their funding goal the CEO has said that they have the backing of Microsoft, who will be assisting with the promotion of the device.

If you are interested in the device and want to assist a dedicated Windows Phone-only start-up, you can pre-order the Moment for $290 on Indiegogo here.
