Windows Device Recovery Tool updated with support for new devices

Windows 10 Mobile

Windows Device Recovery Tool has been updated with support for a few new devices today. The app now supports some devices from small OEMs that you probably never heard of, this includes India's Micromax, Xolo, KM, Freetel and more:

  • Support for 3rd party devices – BLU, XOLO, MICROMAX, KM, DIGINNOS, INVERSENET, JENESIS, MCJ and FREETEL,
  • Minor update to HoloLens Recovery
  • Other minor bug fixes

If you happen to own any device from the above OEMs, you should now be able to recover your Windows Phone with the tool, in case anything goes wrong. For those unfamiliar with the Windows Device Recovery Tool, it's a tool that allows users to hard reset their Windows Phone and recover their device in some cases.
