Through Microsoft Philanthropies, Microsoft is making its cloud services (Azure, Office 365, Dynamics CRM, Enterprise Mobility, Power BI) broadly available to eligible nonprofit organizations by offering Azure credits, free access to its services, etc. Microsoft Azure's cloud services help organizations accelerate innovation with integrated intelligence that powers insights and decision-making, supports a broad selection of operating systems, and provides industry-leading security. Microsoft now has now announced that non-profit organizations and non-governmental organizations in Bahrain can take advantage of this offer.

Cloud computing is a vital resource for addressing the world's problems, but for many non-profits, it is an expensive and missing link." said Hamad Al Saie, Public Sector Business Development Manager, Microsoft Bahrain & Oman. "Our Participation in the Charity Technology Innovation Conference 2016 serves to complement Microsoft's philanthropic initiatives which are geared towards creating opportunities for non-profits to help fuel the breakthroughs and discoveries that can change lives. "We are committed to helping non-profit groups to use cloud computing to solve basic human challenges. One of our ambitions for Microsoft Philanthropies is to partner with these groups and ensure that cloud computing is accessible to a greater number of people and meets the widest range of societal needs"

"Technology is directly linked to the development of society, and our vision is to modernize the way NGOs and non-profits work today – thus solve some of the world's biggest societal challenges." said Musab Alshaikh, Official Spokesman of the Charity Technology Innovation Conference 2016. "Microsoft's participation in the Charity Technology Innovation conference is envisioned as a long-term partnership that helps us reaffirm our commitment to the society, paving a way for non-profits to learn, adopt and leverage the technology solutions they need, in order to make a difference today; for a better tomorrow."
