Skype has released a new update for its Android app with a couple of new improvements. The app now includes accessibility support for bots, which is a major feature as this allows almost all users to be able to take advantage of the bots available on Skype. The update also brings simplified sign-in for Microsoft account users, which is a change the company announced last week. In addition to this, Microsoft has also streamlined contact discovery in the app, and improved app reliability for some Samsung devices.

Here is the full changelog:

  • Accessibility support for cards from bots
  • Resolved issues related to changing device orientation while recording a video message
  • Improved app reliability on Samsung devices running OS versions 6.01 and 5.11
  • Simplified sign-in for Microsoft account users
  • Streamlined contact discovery for phone number user accounts

You can get the latest update for Skype for Android from the Google Play Store here.
