Microsoft today released a new driver update for Surface Pro 3 devices running Windows 10 Anniversary Update. This updated driver is for Realtek USB 3.0 Card Reader on Surface Pro 3 and it enables SD card slot compatibility for the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update. It will appear as below in your Update page.
- Realtek USB 3.0 Card Reader (10.0.14393.31230) ensure SD card slot compatibility with upcoming OS release
You can also manually update the driver by downloading it from the Surface Pro 3 Drivers and Firmware Page.
