Windows 10 Creators Update to be available for PCs via the Update Assistant on April 5

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that they will officially release Windows 10 Creators Update to general consumers from April 11th. Today, Microsoft shared more information on its plans to roll-out Windows 10 Creators Update. As always, Microsoft will take a phased approach to deliver the update to millions of Windows 10 users. In the first phase, Microsoft will target newer devices, especially those they tested together with our OEM hardware partners. In the second phase, Microsoft will expand the release to more devices based on the feedback they receive during the first phase. Microsoft is planning to repeat this process for several months until all compatible devices running Windows 10 worldwide are offered the Creators Update.

If you are more eager to get the Creators Update, Microsoft is recommending you to download the Update Assistant. With Windows Update Assistant tool, you will be able to initiate the update manually, starting on April 5th.
