WhartonBrooks attempt to raise $1.1 million from Windows Phone fans with rebranded Coship Windows Phone

WhartonBrooks has finally announced revealed their first Windows 10 Mobile device and it is named 'Cerulean Moment'.

The final official pictures reveal the device is a lightly rebranded Coship handset, which is a respectable mid-range device with USB-C and Continuum for Phones support which was selling for $399 in mid-2016,

The Cerulean Moment is now selling for a much more affordable $290 a pop.  It comes with 5-inch 720P HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 13MP/5MP rear/front cameras and 2250 mAh battery. It also comes with support for LTE and Dual SIM/Expandable storage slot. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

The 720P screen is still somewhat disappointing for a 2017 Windows Phone however.

The company appears to be making a play for the "committed windows phone fan", of which they say they need only 3900.  Previous history suggests crowd-funded windows phones tend to fail well before reaching this number, but at leat the $1.1 million funding is fixed, meaning WhartonBrooks  will only receive the money of they actually reach the goal.

If you are interested in the device, you can order it on Indiegogo by backing them for $290.
