At CES 2017 Microsoft showed off Windows Mixed Reality headsets from a number of OEMs including Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo and 3Glasses.
The glasses have a similar design, all being tethered to your PC and featuring headbands which suspend the glasses in front of your eyes, and in most cases allowed the glasses to be flipped up, making it easier to combine regular and VR work at the same time. The glasses are expected to be in the $300-400 range and work with a $500 PC or the integrated graphics of a laptop.
We had expected the glasses to arrive towards the end of Q1 2017, to coincide with the Creators Update, but of course, that ship has sailed already.
Now in a tweet the head of Mixed Reality and HoloLens, Alex Kipman, suggested all 5 headsets will be arriving by Holidays 2017. He tweeted:

Acer's Developer Edition headset is expected to be seeded to developers soon, and Lenovo had suggested their headset will be available for the Back to School season, ie around August.
Recent hands-on's with Acer's headset has shown the company has continued to make improvements in the performance and usability of the devices, for example upping the framerate to 90fps and increasing the tethering cord length to 13 feet
