World of Tanks is already running at native 4K on Project Scorpio

World of Tanks is a free-to-play sensation boasting millions of players over multiple platforms. However, where can players find the definitive World of Tanks experience? Well, it looks like Project Scorpio is the answer. In a recent Q&A session on their website, the game developers said:

This is great news and another game which will run at native 4K on Project Scorpio. World of Tanks joins titles like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and more which will offer native 4K support for Project Scorpio. According to sources, experiences like Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront II are also expected to run at native 4K, and in some cases 60 FPS on the upcoming console.

For those who haven't played World of Tanks, it's a massively multiplayer online game developed by Wargaming, featuring early to mid-20th century era combat vehicles. It's built upon a freemium business model where the game is free-to-play, but participants also have the option of paying a fee for use of premium features. If you're in the market for an expansive vehicular fighting game, then look no further.
